TIP #1

TIP # 4

Get Moving!

Getting fit can be fun and easy and feeling fit creates more energy, increases your stamina, improves your mood and builds self-confidence! Plus, it helps you lose weight and inches, tone up and burn fat and calories!

If you are just getting started, begin with 30 minutes a day. Walking, biking, swimming, doing it solo or in a class… the choices are many! If it’s been awhile since you’ve exercised or it’s never been your thing, start with 5-20 minutes your first day. Increase your time each day by 5 minutes. Build your endurance to 30-60 minutes.

Find an exercise routine that is doable and enjoyable for you! Stick with it and notice the improvements to how you feel and how you look! Remember you have a partner in Calorad Advanced in helping you build muscle and burn fat!

Look for opportunities to incorporate exercise in your daily routine! Everyday, even mundane activities can increase your fitness level.

• Take the stairs instead of the elevator

TIP #5

Establish goals and guidelines through journaling!

Journaling, writing down your food choices, exercise options, goals and guidelines helps keep you on the path to wellness, fitness and more fun in your new body!

Journaling your food and eating behavior allows you to track what you eat and how much you eat. You can track any “emotional eating”. Did you reach for that candy bar when you were stressed or over-tired?

The result? You start to make healthier food choices and emotional choices (deep breathing or taking a walk instead of eating a candy bar).

When setting goals and guidelines:

• Create reasonable and achievable goals that motivate YOU!
• Generate benchmarks and timelines that will guide you to your goals.
• Commit to a short and long term timeline to give yourself enough time to succeed.
• Make your goals public to gather support.

Quickie TIP:

Remind yourself of your goals by writing them down and placing them where you can see them; on the refrigerator door, the bathroom mirror, your desk, etc. It can act as a motivational visual cue!
